Proven Leadership
Kevin B. Sneed, PharmD, FNAP, FNPHA, FAHA, is a nationally recognized clinical pharmacist, pharmacy administrator, entrepreneur, and leader whose career spans more than three decades at the intersection of clinical excellence and transformational innovation. He is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Integrated Clinical Xperiences, LLC (ICX), a Tampa Bay-based health enterprise dedicated to reimagining the delivery of pharmaceutical care and expanding access to clinical expertise for patients and providers alike. He was the architect and founding Dean of the University of South Florida Health Taneja College of Pharmacy, where he also previously served as Senior Associate Vice President for USF Health. A nationally recognized clinician, educator, researcher, and innovator, Dr. Sneed has built a career of uncommon breadth — spanning three decades of frontline patient care, academic institution-building, clinical research accomplishment, and health technology leadership.
He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology (Microbiology concentration) from the University of Central Florida, and his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Xavier University of Louisiana College of Pharmacy — one of the nation's foremost historical colleges of pharmacy — where he earned multiple clinical and leadership awards and distinctions. He completed an Ambulatory Care/ Primary Care Pharmacy Practice Specialty Residency at the Bay Pines Veterans Administration Medical Center.
A Clinical Leader of Uncommon Depth
Dr. Sneed has spent his clinical career at the forefront of patient care — not from behind a desk, but side by side with patients, physicians, and care teams. As a long-standing clinical pharmacist and faculty member at USF Health Department of Family Medicine, and through his leadership at USF Health Pharmacy Plus, he has championed an integrative model of care in which the pharmacist is not an auxiliary provider, but a central, indispensable force in optimizing patient outcomes. His clinical expertise spans cardiovascular pharmacotherapy, lipidology, chronic disease management, and population health — fields in which he has both practiced and published. He has been selected as a named author on multiple American Heart Association Scientific Statements in Circulation — one of the most prestigious cardiovascular journals in the world — including the landmark 2016 statement on statin drug-drug interactions and the scientific statement on acute atrial fibrillation management. He also published groundbreaking case studies in the Journal of the American Board of Family Practice addressing multiple adverse effects of medications.
His career includes the founding of the USF Health Taneja College of Pharmacy, oversight of more than 90 clinical trials through the Clinical Investigational Research Pharmacy, and the development of the Pharmacy Plus Care Model — a first-of-its-kind integrated pharmacy practice framework. He also co-holds a U.S. patent in ophthalmological formulation, underscoring the breadth of his applied scientific contributions.
Entrepreneur, Innovator, and Platform Builder
Dr. Sneed does not merely observe the evolution of healthcare — he architects it. Through ICX, he is leading the development of a suite of AI-powered clinical agents designed to address the most pressing gaps in modern patient care: medication clarity, patient engagement, and clinical education. These agents are not theoretical constructs — they are purpose-built tools designed to deploy at scale across health systems, independent pharmacies, and provider organizations.
His entrepreneurial vision extends beyond technology. Dr. Sneed has identified a critical, largely untapped frontier: the independent pharmacy. ICX is actively developing a groundbreaking initiative to unlock meaningful new diversified revenue streams for registered pharmacists — particularly those in independent practice settings — by leveraging clinical credentialing pathways, value-based care contracts, and scalable AI-assisted service models that transform the pharmacist from a transactional cost center into a billed, reimbursed clinical provider. This initiative represents one of the most significant economic and professional development opportunities for the pharmacist workforce in a generation, and ICX intends to lead it.
Committed to Advancing the Profession
At the core of everything Dr. Sneed builds is an unwavering commitment to patients and to the profession of pharmacy. He served as Co-Investigator and Co-Director of the NIH-funded Center for Equal Health (CEH) — a landmark partnership between USF Health and Moffitt Cancer Center dedicated to reducing health disparities in underserved populations. He is presently the Co-Principal Investigator of the KAPHII Study, a longitudinal remote patient monitoring, cancer, and cardiovascular health initiative. Through ICX, he is developing clinical education initiatives, workforce development programs, and research frameworks — all grounded in the belief that better systems produce better outcomes. His work is driven by a conviction that pharmacists, when properly empowered, are among the most effective forces in improving patient health and transforming lives.
Dr. Sneed measures success not in revenue alone, but in lives improved, systems transformed, and pharmacists empowered to practice at the fullest extent of their training and potential.
